And this can\ninclude not just the physical but the psychologic world we are living in. This\ndesire has at times led me to become involved in art works, which are as much\npolitically motivated as they are aesthetically based, creating works focusing\non some sobering realities of our age. An artist fights to maintain the integrity\nof our work so that it remains a strong, clear vision. As artists \u2013 and that\nshould be, the acting individuals \u2013 we need to say something new, something not\nquite familiar; it\u2019s that collection of those singular, personal visions,\ntransformed from within the minds eye to the public, which is throughout time,\nthroughout our own &nbsp;history to come and\nform a definition of who we are and in a way why we are. It is a dialogue with\nnot only our peers, but with people and times both before and during our time.\nFor each of us cannot be defined by the brief physical time we exist in, but we\nhave the ability to extend that time far beyond our physical existence; we are\npart of a collective consciousness, connected to one another through time by\nour work, images, thoughts and writings.
